Client Embedding API Sample

Examples to demonstrate the capabilities of the Symphony Client Embedding API.

Symphony's Client Embedding APIs allow third-party applications running on the same desktop to extend the capabilities of the Symphony UI. The API allows third-party applications to communicate with the Symphony UI over WebSockets. Via the WebSocket, it is possible to add buttons throughout the UI, show message banners, and even start a conversation. This requires the Symphony Desktop Client for Windows.

These examples demonstrate the core capabilities of the client extensions API. This includes adding a button to the IM module, displaying a banner message, and initiating a conversation.

Symphony customers and partners are eager to use the Client Embedding API to integrate with other desktop applications. As they engage with the APIs, it is helpful to have examples from which they can learn.
